2023 Scholarship Winner

 

In the spirit of giving back to our community, Needham Youth Field Hockey is thrilled to announce that the 3rd annual

“Give and Go” Scholarship Award was awarded to Sofia Berejik!

 

This $1,500 scholarship is awarded annually to an applicant who best exemplifies the values of NYFH. 

​

Sofia has been a part of NYFH since its’ infancy, and for the past year she has volunteered for an organization called Waypoint Adventure.  Waypoint Adventure is a non-profit educational organization founded in 2010 that uses quality experiential and adventure based programs to transform the lives of individuals with disabilities and their communities.  Sofia helps them to become leaders in training, and has been a perfect fit for this cause as she has always lead by example!

We know her selflessness, her positivity and her hard work ethic will serve her beyond the fields of Needham when she heads to The University of Massachusetts this coming Fall.
